How much will SEO cost is often the first thing business owners want to know. These business owners are shopping around and may likely buy based on price.

Some companies will offer SEO for less than €500 per month – we don’t. Our minimum per month starts at €800. We have listed packages for SEO to give a guideline on expectations.  But websites come in all sizes. They cover many different niches. Some are very competitive, and some less so. Most websites that I work on fall into this category.  Here are a few examples:

A B2B service business (accountant, solicitor, architect, etc.) Expect to pay between €1,200 and €2,000 per month based on how good your website is at this moment.

Travel websites should budget for at least €2,000 per month.

B2C businesses should expect to invest between €800 and €2,000 – if you are a small builder, plumber, or roofer, then you will be on the low end. The larger your business, the more you will likely need to spend.

SaaS companies need to budget for at least €2,000, and if your sales are all online, the investment needed will be €5,000 or more.

What is Included in the Cost of SEO?

The following are not always needed for all websites. The SEO services used will depend on your website.

Bear in mind that it will cost more if you are targeting markets like Dublin or the whole of Ireland. There will be no surprises. Every SEO project is costed at the start with a full SEO proposal.

Hourly SEO Consultancy

If you only need SEO consultancy, I take calls based on €150 per hour.  This must start at the agreed time and be paid for in advance for new clients.  If you need help with something like WordPress or htaccess, anything that is website related, it is better if we can use Zoom or Google Meet and send me an invite. This way, we can share screens.
